Lisa McShane is the artist behind the Twisted Thistle Art Co. There is a story behind the name so feel free to ask! Lisa is a species at risk biologist by day, thread artist by night and full time solo mama. In what spare time she has, she enjoys creating little works of embroidery art. 1000’s of tiny stitches using single strand cotton embroidery thread over linen, cotton and velvet create landscapes and florals inspired by nature.
